The transit authority utilizes a computerized emergency call system for emergency response and general information for the ridership throughout transit system. Emergency Call boxes strategically located in stations, on platforms, in elevators and in parking areas provide communication with the MBTA for the general public.
iSYS currently provides 24/7/365 emergency service on over 700 of these emergency intercoms and all of the supporting components throughout the transit system.
